This site gives links to several sources of maps, mostly produced using InstantAtlas, which has an extensive menu system for each sources giving access to many indicators from one screen.

Just one InstantAtlas interface screen can give many sets of information about health, healthy living and well-being.

selected profiles for the nation

In England male life expectancy is highest in Kensington & Chelsea (84 yrs), and lowest in Blackpool (74 yrs). female life expectancy is highest in Kensington & Chelsea (89 yrs), and lowest in Manchester (79 yrs). There are the highest levels of obesity in Tamworth and Gateshead, and the lowest in Kensington & Chelsea and Richmond upon Thames.
Most new cases of tuberculosis have been recorded in Newham and Brent. Most early deaths from cancer are in Hartlepool and Liverpool. The least early deaths from cancer are in South Buckinghamshire and Kensington & Chelsea.
Most smoking-related deaths are in Manchester and Salford, with the least in Purbeck and Harrow.
In Wales cardiovascular death rates are highest in Merthyr and Rhondda. and lowest in Monmouthshire and Powys. Death rates from respiratory diseases are also high in Merthyr, but also high in Wrexham. These rates are lowest in Monmouthshire and Ceredigion. Cancer death rates are highest in Merthyr and Anglesey, and lowest in Monmouthshire and Powys.

skin cancer

There is the highest incidence in Plymouth, Oxfordshire and Torbay. In general the south west of England has higher incidences in the population. The lowest incidence is found in Newham, Heart of Birmingham, Brent and Southwark..
